Matthew 6:25-27 (NIV)
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life.Well, over the past month sickness and broke computers have run rampant through this household. Steven has been going from happy to mad to happy to pissed and then back to happy again. He has been a handful and a half. He has thrown, hit, kicked and screamed so much. There have been medicine changes and lots of tears. He has had fluids coming out of both ends, sleeping great and not sleeping well. I know that God is here for us and loves us very much. It is verses like this that help me keep my focus. It is hard to focus on them at times when the meltdown is happening, but later on it helps keep my head up. There are so many times I wish I could just go to heaven long enough to talk to God and see what He has planned. I know that isn't possible and I just need to hold out my hand for Him to guide me. Please keep us in your prayers to help us find our path that God has laid out for us. Especially keep Steven in them. Being 18 is hard enough, but with his inability to understand why things are the way they are is being overwhelming for him.
Take care and God Bless,
Sherri
This picture is blurry, but it shows how I spent a lot of the past few weeks.
